Stinging Nettle, a Plant with Multiple Resources

Stinging Nettle is a plant whose entire parts can be utilized to benefit from all its health advantages.

Indeed, its leaves, seeds, and root can all be used (whole or powdered), depending on the desired effects.

Stinging nettle is often used for its high nutritional value, thanks to its high content of calcium, potassium, silicon, and iron. Raw or cooked, its leaves can be consumed in dishes such as salads, soups, or omelets.

Dried leaves and powdered root can also be ideal for infusion to make herbal teas. Stinging nettle infusion helps to remineralize and strengthen the body (soothes rheumatic or menstrual pain, fights fatigue and stress, etc.).

It is also possible to find powdered stinging nettle as food supplements or in the manufacture of cosmetic products for skin and hair. It thus contributes to the natural beauty of the skin (combats acne in particular) and hair.
