DR. TIPS

This brush's technicality comes from the meticulous and unique assembly of 7,700 boar bristlesfolded in half and gathered in bundles of 50 bristles of different heights to catch sebum and extract it from the roots.

Boar bristle brushes help to flattenhair and tame frizz. Boar bristles are also soft and natural, which can help protect hair from damage caused by brushing and styling.

Please note: this brush is not for detangling!

COMPOSITION

The 100% natural boar bristle fibers in our brushes are made of keratin. Keratin, the main constituent of hair, is a fibrous protein that is the primary structural component of hair. This brush therefore has a particular affinity with hair and will help to capture sebum and distribute it naturally along the hair shaft, providing hydration to the hair, making it shinier and healthier.

FAQ: Dr. answers

Can I use the MakeMyMask Polishing Brush on wet hair?

We do not recommend using this brush on wet hair as it would lose its sebum-regulating action. It is best to use it on dry hair to better distribute sebum along the hair shaft.

Is MakeMyMask's Shine Brush detangling?

No, the MakeMyMask Brush does not have a detangling action and is therefore not suitable for this application. However, the other MakeMyMask brushes do have this detangling action!

Should I regularly wash the MakeMyMask Polishing Brush?

Yes! As it extracts excess sebum and impurities, it is essential to clean it regularly (about once a week) so that it retains its regulating action. To do this, you can clean your boar bristle brush by soaking it in warm soapy water, then rinsing it and letting it air dry.

What is the difference between the new and old versions of the MakeMyMask Brush?

MakeMyMask's new Boar Bristle Brush features longer boar bristles, which will better distribute sebum along the hair shaft.
